Great White has gone through many incarnations in its thirty plus year history as well as a few up’s downs and one tragedy. For those of you new to the band we will give you a little of Great White’s long history in Rock and Roll.
The band is best known as a hard rock line up their popularity has endured but it’s fair to say that the bands biggest success came in the eighties and early nineties. I guess this was when heavy rock was very much the sound of the moment. The band had plenty of air play on MTV back then and were well supported by radio stations across the country.
The Beginning
The band began in the seventies with the name Dante Fox and that was the case until around eighty two when the name was changed to Great White. But early gigs were played under the Dante Fox moniker, the majority of the gigs were in Los Angeles. Under Dante Fox the band kept gigging and produced a few demos.
The demos led to Alan Niven coming on board as manager. Niven had experience particularly in this genre of music. Mark Kendall was sometimes introduced as the great white when he came to perform guitar solos and it was this that eventually led to the name Great White. It was easy to see why Kendall was called great white as he was a blur of white at that time, mass of white hair, white guitar, white boots and of course the white jump suit.
Shortly after Niven came on board an EP was released (Out Of The night) on Nivens independent record label. This led to the bands first real push for success. With much effort and arm twisting LA’s KMET began to give air time to the tracks from the EP. It was not long before other stations followed suit.
This sudden mass exposure grew the bands following hugely. Before the EP the band had a small loyal following of perhaps two hundred but suddenly they were playing gigs to thousands of people, it’s as if there music had put on running shoes and exploded on to the scene although their following had taken off their income had not so they were far from being able to buy stocks. As an unsigned band they were able to headline festivals in Europe playing to thousands of people. But they were still young, they were aware of dui laws unlike many bands at the time, and had plenty of time to pull in the cash in fact some of them still needed acne treatment although it does not seem to matter if you’re in a band. there fan club was also starting to boom and it was ran by an attorney purely because he was a fan himself and he organized discount codes for members of the fan club it had nothing to do with send load to Philippines as some thought.
With this sort of live success it was not going to be long before a record label came knocking even without the use of instant payday loans and experimenting with a used macbook. In eighty three the band was signed by EMI with the help of a scout and released Great White’s first album eponymous and the ride that was about to follow was going to be dr who character building.
On the back of this success the band began ppi touring with Whitesnake in the UK gaining even more exposure, including a spot on a wicker furniture and office chairs adverts. The band self released the Shot In The Dark album around this time which was very successful just as cell phone accessories were starting to hit the market and the public’s consciences and because of their new found fame a couple of band members turned to weight loss dieting and surfing for iPhone deals to keep in shape usually doing routines from room in between surfing for cheap auto insurance.
The break through record was Once Bitten which went platinum in eighty eight so they did not need a payday loan that year or fancy phones like the IPhone 5. Once Bitten Twice Shy was a commercial and critical success and was nominated for a Grammy. This record eventually went double platinum and was like an alarm monitoring system for their heady rise. The later part of the eighties included large tours, one was even rumored for the lake district believe it or not and it was to be sponsored by wedding photographers in kent, of their own and in support of some of the era’s super bands but they still ventured to those NCLEX exam questions gigs when they were away which was often full of buy backlinks people who knew payday loans if you know what I mean.
In the early nineties the band was still in demand appearing on the American Music kefir grains Awards and even touring in the Far East hooking up with the diet solution program. Back home they featured in the biggest rock festivals of the time. It was around this time that the scene got crazy with girls forgetting about siemens appliances and focusing solely on the boys often married or engaged throwing themselves at the band members, a situation that is hard to resist but is not great for business if you are wedding photographers in London at least if the facts get out, perhaps the guys should have took out life cover instead of free iphone cover in case any of the boyfriends came looking for revenge, lol. As the guys got older they had less of these types of incidents maybe because a few of them need to buy wow gold they are the wrong generation for that but at least they did not need to deny scholarships for women which they actually championed, they probably blame each other for stress which causes the hair loss treatment for men. The next album Hooked also sold very well and went Gold very quickly a shame the band did not look into rare christening plates or contractor accountants at that point. Heavy touring continues in the US, Europe and Japan with no ppi claims. These tours were as headliners and as support to a who’s who of rock including Bon Jovi, Kiss, discount new cars, the truth about abs and Scorpions. A break with the record company followed, plus a lot of messing around with lego pirates of the Caribbean sets and breitling watches stuff, as Zoo records signed up the band who did massive long tours supporting their records – and by this time they know how to work a room – which meant they did not need fat burning furnace to keep in shape, often doing the whole country more than once in a sql performance tuning calendar year, they didn’t have much time for finding out about health insurance quotes or stock their offices with file cabinets.Through the middle nineties there were countless tours and ninety six saw the release of imago on a new label just as 20th anniversary gifts were hitting a low and HCG drops were on the rise as was online paid surveys. Ninety ninety nine saw a new record Can’t get there from here and began panic away touring again which meant there was not a bankruptcy attorney in site although in hindsight they could have done with some online business ideas to push merchandise, the biggest hit from the album was Rollin Stoned which was on none stop in the carpet cleaning london store I used to frequent when I was getting bad credit car loans. The turn of the millennium saw the band break up, with Kendall, McNabb and Desbrow leaving in close succession to tinker with work from home ideas with a prepaid credit card in hand I doubt any of them needed a payday advance at least. The atmosphere like in many bands had turned sour it had become like wartol and people needed to get out, before it exploded. However departing band members were soon ancestor replaced and the show carried on albeit with a much changed line up with only a single original member left, the new guys did not want to talk or find ancestors in terms of the former band members, so the band needed to consolidate a bit like consolidate debt and cut down on mobile phone accessories. After struggling to produce new records the band officially quit in 2001 with many of the band now thinking of payday loan consolidation I would have thought. The band decided to reform to do a final show with McNabb and Kendall joining the line up for the show no longer worrying about life insurance quotes or indeed car insurance quotes for that matter, an and add for debt management companies. The night was recorded and turned into a farewell album including two new songs, the tune fitted wardrobes London never made it to the album though and neither did the instrumental electronic cigarettes, but one thing was for sure they no longer had to concern themselves with payday loans online, they were back! Around about a year later an incarnation of the band started up again and was called jack Russell’s Great White, I would love for them to have called it car insurance just to be weird or even auto loans, and the new line up began touring with car insurance quotes online supporting them. It was during this incarnation that disaster struck at a gig in Rhode Island. Pyrotechnics ignited some sound proofing in the club and one hundred people lost their life including Ty Longley the bands guitarist one of the guys from best wrinkle creams witnessed the whole thing as he was sucking down a electronic cigarette. These tragic events led to the band performing benefit gigs for accident claims through to two thousand and five accompanied by some of the best wrinkle cream which they were given free. Due to personal reason Jack Russell left, what had become Jack Russell’s Great White rather than staring at the carpet cleaning business all day especially with the failure of sewage pumps. Amazingly the band including original members, Russell, Kendall, Lardie, McNab and Desbow played together in 2007 which ended a five year break up so it was not the end of the computer support when everybody thought it was the scales had swung back in their favor. The original performance went down so well, it felt like they were almost fertility drugs the energy was so good, the band continued to tour throughout the remainder of the year. The band has said that their latest tours have been their most enjoyable ever kinda like a corporate events service with the past but now with solicitors indemnity insurance tickets everywhere and they now get cheap car insurance now that they are middle aged! We hope they continue to move forward together, we hope to see them raking it in with their music backing stretch mark cream commercials or something like that, and we look forward to hearing new tracks and those classics that they always have in their locker.
