other bands I love you may not have heard of
Gotthard and Pain
they're great gym workout music....and I realllllly like it, if you want a taster of Pain (so to speak) go and listen online to Nailed to the Ground,
Clouds of Ecstacy and Follow Me, they're harder rock that GW or Gotthard but still very "musical" I guess

I actually have listened to a little bit of Gotthard, they are good. I like their cover of Hush by Deep Purple.

I've heard quite a bit of Gotthard since one of my friends is a die hard fan, and yes they are good. I haven't heard Pain though. Gotta check them
out.

Gotthard were at Sweden Rock a couple of years back (which GW said they'd be at but weren't but the lineup would have been fab, Def Leppard,
Whitesnake, Poison...a bit of GW would have made it THE best line up ever, ever, ever. Gotthard were there and I was chatting and dancing with these
guys whilst listening to them.
I love it when you see a new band but then I got more and more music, and at Christmas my lovely hubby surprised me with a trip to Switzerland to see
them in their home town! It was FANTASTIC, I didn't even know where I was going until I was on the plane and even then I had to guess where Geneva
was....that's my blonde side coming out!
Oh Volbeat are insane but cool too!

I saw Pain live when they supported Nightwish in london a few years back, they were pretty good, I think I remember them doing a cover of the Beatles
' Elanor Rigby' !!

All that talk about Swedish rock bands makes me think about Europe. I have absolutely loved their last three albums, Start From The Dark, Secret
Society and Last Look At Eden. It's very much a different sound than we remember from The Final Countdown days, much harder rocking, fewer keyboards.

Nope never heard of them but i'll look them up!
Ive been over to sweden a few times with work and the music scene there is fantastic! The record shops are so much better there. Here, the bulk of
most record shops is pop music with smatterings of rock but the shops i visited in Sweden were the other way round!!
Not quite Sweden, but A Finnish band I love are Nightwish, have most of their albums and they always get turned up loud!
